About Us

The Oldfangled Leather Co is a small leather workshop in Panorama, Worcester, in the Western Cape. Since 2016 we have been making leather goods the old-fangled way: cut from full hides, stitched and finished by hand, and built to be used every day for years.

What we make

Bags, wallets, belts and accessories – from everyday wallets and card holders to messenger bags, totes, travel bags and knife rolls. We also make custom pieces and branded corporate gifts.

Our leather

Most of our work is in bovine leather, chosen for its strength and reliable supply. We also work with game skins and ostrich, and finishes like our water-resistant Castari leather and vintage distressed leathers. See the leather colour chart.

Everything in-house

Design, cutting, stitching, laser engraving, embroidery and decorative sandblasting all happen under one roof, so personalised and branded orders are simple.
