Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you order or contact us we collect your name, email, phone number and delivery address so that we can make, deliver and support your order. Payments are processed by PayFast; we never see or store your card details.

Website statistics

We count visits to this website with our own privacy-friendly statistics: no cookies are used for this, and we do not store IP addresses or anything that identifies you. A short-lived session cookie keeps your cart working and tells us roughly where a visit came from (for example, a search engine).

If you accept cookies in the banner, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) may set cookies to measure our advertising. You can say no and the site works the same.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing leather@theoldfangledleatherco.co.za.
